Benefit Breakfast for Children

Based on research from the AAP in 2008 adolescents who regularly eat breakfast have a lower BMI or a more slender than teens who skip breakfast or who rarely eat breakfast.

In adolescents or children who eat breakfast, in the diet will consume more calories and high in fiber but lower consumption of saturated fat

According to Dr. Schneider predictor factor "overeating is under eating" where many teenagers who do not eat breakfast and lunch will eat more later on after coming home from school so that cause overeating
Breakfast will also enhance learning and concentration in everyday activities at school so that children who eat breakfast will have better performance than children who do not eat breakfast

Breakfast is an opportunity for parents to give children fiber cereal in the form in which the fiber can also help you lose weight by lowering cholesterol
In children and adolescents are the peak bone growth so that the consumption of vitamin D can increase bone calcium absorption in children.

According to the AAP study, vitamin D also can be useful to help boost immunity, prevent infectious diseases, autoimmune, diabetes and cancer. So it is recommended to consume vitamin D 200 IU - 400 IU daily. The recommended source of vitamin D is through milk, yogurt, cereal is perfect consumed for breakfast.

With the increasing number of obese or overweight in children and adolescents presumably it will be very important for parents to always encourage our children to eat breakfast every day:)
